There was drama at Protea Farm in Ruwa on Friday when a Ministry of Agriculture official, Ivy Rupindi, evicted a white farmer, Martin Grobler, who has stayed on the farm for a long time.
This fresh farm invasion happens at a time when the government announced it will compensate farmers who lost land during the 2000 land reform.
Rupindi gave Grobler 24 hours to leave the farm.
